Description:- This
activity is for the NORTH EAST CORRIDOR V4.0
(NEC4) & involves assembling a consist of 15
Autocars ready for
hauling to Snyder Ave Yard. The 15
Autocars have to be
cut out of 3 sets of 20
Autocar strings which are sat in General
Motors Autorack
Tracks 1, 2 & 3. The train has to be assembled,
as specified in the Work Order in your Engineers
Notes & located on Winsmere
Yard Track 1. The remaining cars will also be
assembled, as specified in the Work Order in
your Engineers Notes, & spotted accordingly.
You are working to a tight schedule & have been
allowed a time limit of 1hr 10
mins has been set
for this task.

NOTES:-
OK Engineer ....You've had quite a busy day but
you have one more job before you can call it a
day. Your next train has to be assembled over in
Wilsmere Yard, 15
Autocars, for
transportation to Snyder Avenue Yards.
IMPORTANT
Your access in the Wilsmere
Yard will be limited. You will only be able to
use the following tracks:-
Wilsmere
Yard Track 1
Wilsmere
Yard Track 2
General Motors Autorack
Track 1
General Motors Autorack
Track 2
General Motors Autorack
Track 3
Attempting to use other tracks IS NOT ADVISED!
We will have heavy traffic both on the Mainline
AND through the Yards.
The cars you need to assemble into your train
are currently located at the end of 3 strings of
20 Autocars which
are sat on the sidings at General Motors
Autorack so you are
going to have to cut them out.
Your train has to be assembled & spotted on
Wilsmere Yard Track
1.
The remaining cars need to be assembled in the
order as indicated in the Work Order & spotted
on the necessary tracks.
You have a 1hr 10 Min window to complete your
task.
*** YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT ALL YOUR OWN
SWITCHING IN THE GM YARD***
Your twin D9s #9022 & #9015 are in the sheds at
Wilsmere getting
checked over by maintenance so you have the use
of a Switcher, an SW1500, gusty little
fella but you'll
need all the power it's got for this job.
