NENE-120-NE02 work order

North Eastern Railroad Freight Activity (c) 2004

NENE-120-02

----------------------------------------

Work Order: NENE-120-NE02

Time: 7 a.m.

Season: Spring

Weather: Clear

Difficulty: Easy

Duration: 0 hours 45 minutes

Train: AMD103 – Engine #307 + AMD103 #310

Class: 1

----------------------------------------

This is the second work order of a series - the “North Easterner” – the North East Division’s regular passenger service covering all the routes in the North East division.

It’s 7am, you are fuelled up and collecting your passenger carriages and moving your train to Philadelphia, ready for the 8am service departure.

Traffic is getting heavy as the NE corridor is in the peak hour service window, so you are a lower priority for access.

You will need to pick up your engine at the Engine Shed, pick up your consist at the Wash Track before heading out to Wilmington, where you will pick up your cleaning crew and dining car crew.

Once the crews are on board, you are off to Philadelphia Track 2, so the passengers can climb aboard and be ready for departure at 8am.

The maximum operational speed of the AMD103 is 103mph.  Notch 4 will keep you at a nice 96-98mph.

The timetable in this activity is a guide only.  I’ve allowed plenty of time, so don’t be concerned at running early on the timetable front.

Speed Limits:

Yards = 15 MPH

Main = As posted, but within AMD Maximum Operational speed of 103 MPH.

Other = As posted

Drive Safely & have FUN!
