this activity you will be using the SD70 #9237, your
dispatch call number will be the same #9237.
Good
afternoon. You have been assigned the duty of running
one of the grain trains from
Cutbank to the Newark & Jersey City area. This
is the fifth activity of this multi-route run.
You
are entering the route just south of Hillside. Take
your train to Oak Island yard and drop the cars off at
siding 1 on the first part of the yard and on siding 8
on the second part of the yard. (Check the work order
to see what cars to drop off where). When the last
cars have been dropped off head back to the first part
of the yard and stop your engines at Service 1 so they
can be refuelled.
Clearances: All clearances will be announced by the
dispatcher during the activity.
Speed
limit: As Posted. The conductor will inform you if
other speed limits apply to your train during the
activity.
(The
maximum allowed speed for this heavy grain trains is
40 mph).
