There are no
Temporary Speed Restrictions
during this activity.
For this
activity you will be using the
Mikado #900.
It is a cold
winter morning and the demand for
coal is high. To add to the
problem an inbound transport of
diesel fuel has derailed, leaving
some of our diesel engines out of
fuel. To solve the situation the
old Mikados
have been put back into service
and you are to drive the #900 with
a coal load from
Swik
to
McConnelsville. Be careful,
the track is very slippery today
due to the snow on it. The tender
is almost empty so you must fill
it up at the coal and water towers
at Swik
RR yard. When arriving in
McConnelsville head into
the wye
dropping off the coal consist on
the entry leg. Reverse out the
other leg to hook up to the rear
of the coal consist. Now it is
time to head forward to the
reverse point on the mainline.
When hitting the reverse point it
is time to reverse down to
Enocell
Barging. Be careful, it is a steep
grade and the track is slippery
due to all snow. After dropping
off the full coal cars at
Enocell
Barging-1 head into
Enocell
Barging-2 to pick up the empties
bound for
Swik.
Clearances:
You must leave
the Swik
area and enter the mainline before
08:30 a.m.
You are cleared
from Swik
to
McConnelsville from 8:00
a.m.
The cars
locations and destinations are as
follows:
32769-0 to 7
from #1 coal 3 to
Enocell
Barging -1
Speed limit: As
posted.
Drive Safely!
