number will be the same #900.
For the second
part of this logging operation you
have to bring empty logger cars
back to the logging area near Mt.
Ephraim. You also have to bring
eight gas tankers from Marietta
Yards to Florence Yards. The
tankers will then be distributed
to the industries in the area by
another crew. There are a couple
of steep grades and tight corners
along the way to Mt. Ephraim so
you need to plan
your
driving well.
Clearances:
You have
clearance to enter mainline at the
sawmill branch from 4:30 p.m.
Your clearance
on the sawmill branch expires at
4:50 p.m.

Most switching
will be done by the dispatcher
except in the yards. The conductor
will inform you when you have to
throw switches manually.
When you have
dropped off the last loggers, park
the Mikado in front of the #901
Mikado.
Speed limit: As
posted.
Hint: If you
are stopped at a red light
entering a single track and still
don’t get a green after the AI
train passes, try moving forward.
Depending on
when you arrive at single tracks,
you might have to wait for one or
two oncoming trains due to heavy
southbound traffic.
