Fire has shut down Unionville the local source of logs
for the Sarahville Sawmill. Mt Ephraim Logging has got a
special order for 25 car loads, they are cut, loaded and
ready to go.
In this part you will move the cars from Mt Ephraim Yard
2 and 3 to the Sawmill.
On arrival at the Sarahville Wye the train needs to be
cut with the first 7 loggers for Sawmill #6, then you
can place the remainder (18 cars) 9 each on Sawmill #4
and #5. Make sure that the loads are all the way back on
the sidings as it is tight fit. All yard switching is
manual.
Once you spotted the loads pick up the caboose and
proceed onto the wye stub (east), that will end the
activity.
Enjoy!

Notes:
1. All yard switching at Sawmill is manual.
2. Drop off 15 cars at Sawmill in Sarahville north of
Dale 7 cars Yard #6 and 9 cars each #4 and #5. The cars
have to be close to the bumpers to activate drop-off.
4. After your finished pull into the wye stub (east)
with the caboose and the activity will end.
5. This activity is based on "The Al-Pac spur joins the
L&W line near Boyle at a switch that points south. This
was designed for trains hauling pulp toward Edmonton.
ANY trains will be arriving from the north, so will face
a long backwards move to the Al-Pac mill. This will
probably mean using a caboose which will likely be on
the property by December. Athabasca Northern Railway
(ANY) runs from its interchange point with Lakeland and
Waterways (L&W) at Boyle AB, to Ft McMurray Terminal in
north-east Alberta. Traffic to date has been end-to-end,
often hauling pipe and dimensional loads north to Ft
McMurray, or sulphur and petroleum coke south."
