Work Order: NEOW-026-23D

Time: 6:15 AM

Season: Summer

Weather: Clear

MSTS Difficulty: Medium

Duration:  4 hours 45 minutes (or more -- depends on how you drive)

Train: NERR H24-66 x 2

Activity Difficulty Level:  3

----------------------------------------

This activity distributes the inbound car cuts set out by the road freight operated under activity NEOW-088-23C.  Following this activity, the next in series will be NEDF-026-23E.

It's early morning and they finished the setouts off the N&JC - Seattle through freight.  You've drawn local duty again.  H24-66's for power, but should get you there.  Need to pick up assorted cars in the yard, after picking up empties over the hill at Tessmocker that are headed back to the coal mines.  You'll work your way up to Cambridge where you'll end the local run, probably around lunchtime.  Easy ahead as you start, you're in a 15 MPH zone.  At least you're coffe cup is full!

Speed limits:

yards:   15

sidings: 20 or posted speed, whichever is lower

Main:   40 MPH or posted speed., whichever is lower

Drive Safely!

Operational Notes:

This activity is 98% fully pathed so that the engineer uses reverse points to make almost all movements.  On occasion the engineer will need to set switches manually prior to reaching a reversing point to complete required actions.

I tested this activity extensively on two different systems.  I use DirectX 9a.

All hills are possible working within the established work order speed limits.

Switching in Marietta yard -- when breaking up the train prior to putting the car cuts on the Interchange tracks, use the stub tracks from the leftmost to the rightmost.
