Well this should be an interesting day. Jim has brought a U-Boat with some rookies, up from Swik, to connect to us

so the rookies can get a good feel for RRing and some pointers from Jim as we switch Caldwell Grain. The road crew,

NEOW-048-009, that came in with the empty grain cars will be moving about and connecting to the boxcars and heading to Florence.

It seems they are having some engine problems in 2nd and 3rd unit. There is a Geep moving about also, along with a Robel working on some tracks.

 

Our job today is to hold here, (10 minutes), until Jim, who has a rookie driving the U-Boat, in here to connect. I believe it will be Rocky driving.

You might want to hold on. After the lash up, you can wait here for 10 minutes (watch the SD40s work) while Jim instructs the trainees

and then proceed back into Caldwell Grain. We will first pick siding 4,5,6, bring them out onto the main and then pick siding 1,2,3. We will

be parking the FULL grain cars on this side of the empties and eventually push all the FULL grain cars back as far as we can as to not run the

rear of the train into the empties sitting next to us. After that, we will return here, at this siding where we started. You might have to get

pretty close to the buffer in front to end activity.

NEOW-048-009 will be taking the role of the SD40s moving around in this activity

NEOW-048-010 will be back in the SD40s from Florence to here to continue on with the 100 car Grain Train..which almost half of them are full now..

NEOW-048-011 will be finishing placing the empties at Caldwell Grain

 

 

Hints: When you are backing into Caldwell. and past the...X..crossover, make sure to switch the leg of the crossover in front of you to have enough room to maneuver with

all three sidings. After you connect, 4,5,6, clear the crossover and proceed backwards until the first car behind the Trainer is parallel with the..X..in the crossover and drop

4,5,6 there. Proceed forward and repeat process with 1,2,3. reconnect to 4,5,6 and push them back as far as you can without passing the signal AT THE REAR OF THE TRAIN which will be real close to backing into the empties.

unhook and pull forward to end activity where you started your day.

 

Remember to ask permission past Reds.

None of the AIs will effect any of your Paths.

 

OOOPS: In the previous act NEOW-048-007 the empties wasn't placed here. But do to some auto switches in the

middle of consists, had to move the empties over 1 track. Also have tried relentless for days to be able to

to Pick the Full cars at Caldwell and replace them with empties in one activity with a path guide. Due to the switches being close

together and auto switches and reds and way to many reverse points to go wrong, I decided to do away with

paths for you to follow.
