NEDF 109 X01a MS_SS -
Part2, Marshall -
Saratoga Yard, via Bogville
----------------------------------------
Work Order: NEDF 109
X01a MS_SS
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Season: Spring
Weather: Clear
Duration: 1 hr 56 min
Train: SD70M
Class: 4
----------------------------------------
Still a
beauiful spring morning
to continue our run. They're turning the GP's back
to Maggies, and we're
taking on a pair SD70M's to get to Saratoga. Not the
best in the yards, but it's just basically
assembling the train before heading out and they are
needed with the grades and load we're moving. I
guess since you've finished your coffee, it's time
to head out.
We are responsible for
our own switches in the yard.
We begin by going
straight forward then backing up onto Outgoing 2
Pickup 32768-0-5, then
forward and back to Outgoing 3
Pickup 32772-0-28
and
32773. They are moving the cubby to the Western
Division
Use the
yardview (7 key) to find
the cars if needed.
Move to yard lead and
wait for clearance to enter the main and then
dispatcher has control of all switches..
Setout
#32768-0 & 1 at Cedar Ridge
runaround track
Setout #32768-3,4,5
at BV Poultry
Warnings: Speeding is
not tolerated on the ADF or M&RM, so beware!
Main: As Posted (Best
to keep 3 - 5mph under)
Sidings: 30mph
Yards: 15mph
All crossovers,
diverging switches (points) tighter than 5 degrees
have a 30mph speed limit. All of those West of here
are limited with no warning unless otherwise
notified. However, the conductor should let you know
when the end of the train has cleared.
Note: the pickups and
setouts may not show up
as completed until the
Evaluation, however you should get
notification after each
successfull task except Cedar Ridge.
Since we are a very low
priority, there are 3 AI meets where you will most
likely have to wait ..
depending on your speed.
There should not be a wait more than about 4 minutes
at most or something is wrong. Also, try not to get
stopped going into Cedar Ridge or you will more than
likely stall out. It can be timed if you're patient
If you get any
unsuccessful end of activity seemingly out of
nowhere, look at the detailed evaluation and it will
tell you why. Usually Overspeed!
