Valley mining is re-enforcing some of the structural timbers in the underground mines and you have been assigned the job of getting the materials there. There is also an extra engineer along getting his certification for the ADF which means you can do it as Trainer, or Trainee.

Once into the yard use the 7 key for yardview if needed.

Valley Mining - You do your own switching when backing out of the wye

Set Caboose off to side to take back with you (Outgoing ladder maybe )

SO Incoming 3 * 0-13-30

SO Incoming 4 * 0-9-12 (Behind Crossover)

SO Incoming 4 * 0-3-8 (In front of Crossover)

 

PU All of Outgoing 1

PU All of Outgoing 2

 

When finished pull up and hold prior to signal for clearance back

 

NOTE:

30mph Crossover at MP1.2  East (Mntn Div Cutoff)

You are running a HazMat Key Train with Class1.1 Explosives. Restrictions are:

*6 car buffer between engine/caboose

*50mph Maximum speed

*30mph (Nat'l, but 25mph for ADF) after visual check of a wayside detector message if everything seems to be clear until next wayside detector clears it. If not, you must stop immeditely and notify dispatch.

*Manifest should be visible at all times and easily accessible in case of problems.
