NEDF109X02-SS-VV-SS work order

Work Order: NEDF109X02-SS-VV-SS

Time: 8:30a

Season: Winter

Weather: Clear

Duration: 3:30 (may be as much as 1/2 hour different depending on whether you use the front coupler or not)

Train: RS1#51

Class: 3 or more depending on how familiar you are with the route

Central Dispatch got a call from Caines Christmas Trees asking for a special run to get a shipment out asap for the season rush. While you're going there, we set up a small unit for you to take with you in the process. You'll be going from Saratoga - Bogville - North Fork and back using a triple lashup of RS1's.

Dispatch will take care of you and your switches in the yard and on the way, but you are responsible once you get to switching Bogville and North Fork. You will get a popup with each successful pickup and drop, but it's up to you to figure out the most efficient method of doing it. You won't have any easy job, since you only have 2000hp to work with, but you'll make it. You should get back in time for lunch.

The exact positions for each set out have not been specified on the WO, so use your judgement to put them where they should go. All the popup is doing is letting you know you are on the correct siding. This is not a race to the finish, but how precise you can do it .. with good runs, no hits and especially no errors!

When finished, leave your cars at the west end of the yard and return to the fuel pump.

Hope you enjoy

Speed Limits: 60mph max

15mph in yard

30mph on sidings off of main

NOTES: There is no AI traffic from Bogville on since there could be a 1/2 hour difference in exiting there and the path could have easily produced some permanent reds depending on your time.

Don't read any further unless you have trouble.

===============================================

Since there were so many different methods of doing this, this is the simplest, but longest variation using only rear coupler. If you're using front coupler, I figure you are capable of getting your way through this much more efficiently. It can cut as much as 1/2 hour off of the total.

Destinations and order to follow, doing both pickup (first) and setout (secondly) where appropriate.
