Work Order:
NEDF-109-10-GASO-EB02a
Time: 2:30pm
Season: Summer
Weather: Clear
Duration: 1hr 10min
Train: 484#222
Class: 1
----
For today, in honor of
the Great American Smoke Out, ADF is using every
steamer in their roundhouse doing with
today's cars, what they
did for years in their own time. Makes for
interesting AI, even if completely fictional!
----
Just found out there is
a derailment between here and Perkins, so we have to
go over the mountain. Puts a damper on our Steam
Day, but at least we are already prepared and ready
to go since we still have our helper with us.
Looks like he's getting a few
extra hours today.
----
NOTES:
Keep in mind the best
passenger pickup time will be as much as -0.05 past
the station. I put the center of the train right at
the middle of the platform to get shortest loading.
Restricted speeds:
30mph - Restricted
diverging switch (MP1.2)
20mph - Bridge after
Baileys Memorial East (after MP35)
20mph - Bridge after
Gold Run (after MP37.3)
Once your engines have
cleared, resume speed
Most stops have a 'yard
view' if you want to see what is going on around.
'7' key
Very heavy up grade
between Pilar and GoldRun so be prepared.
Helper Division East
you are working blind coming out of a tunnel. Be
careful with your brakeman and conductor ;-)
Maintain 5mph under the
posted speed limit (except for the 40mph) and you
should have no problems. I have purposely used the
"Automatic Fireman" on these to derive times so that
anyone with the inclination to run it could feasibly
do so.
Critical Meets:
MP14:43 - Junctionville
Cutoff (you should be
there first)
MP40.4 - Passing Siding
(should be a running meet)
Hope you enjoy
