A train reported very bad running near Summit, the Chief Civil Engineer has

taken a look and could see some land subsidence and a temporary speed

restriction is in place around that area for two miles, as the land could move

in other places.

 

Take you lightweight ballast train up to the siding west of Summit, the Tamper

will follow you up shortly, be careful around there, the CCE says it should be

OK for a lightly loaded train ...

 

You will be the only train operating east from Essex, and two more trains have

just came over Summit, all other trains have been told to stop and await

further instructions, you may pass one or two trains approaching Summit.
