Clearances:

 

You are cleared to enter the eastbound mainline at Lena’s Mining at 3:05 p.m.

You are cleared to enter the westbound mainline at Fort Fairfax at 3:30 p.m.

You are cleared to enter the eastbound mainline at the Simonville branch at 4:25 p.m.

No time set for re-entering mainline at Fort Fairfax on your return run from Simonville.

You must return to Lena’s Mining by 5:25 p.m.

You must be ready to re-enter the mainline ahead of the clearance time for each point listed above, or clearance will not be granted.

 

Drop off your consist of full coal cars at Fort Fairfax. Deliver mixed freight to Simonville and pick up unloaded cars there. Drop the unloaded freight cars in Fort Fairfax and pick up a consist of empty coal hoppers. Bring the hoppers to the track next to the loading track at Lena’s Mining. Stop your train when the last car has cleared the switch entering track 2.

Hint: When dropping off mixed freight cars at Simonville, drop them at the base of the wye and turn your engines in the wye. Stop immediately after exiting wye and reverse the consist into the siding. Do not drive up to the reverse point until having dropped the consist on the siding.
