--------
We (GASO5) are
continuing from Frampton carrying an enthusiastic
group of Railfans whose main interest is in
getting some good photo ops of the activities
happening around them as we head towards Saratoga
for a summer "Steam Blowout". There will be some
stops and interruptions, but that is what the
guests are here to see. Try to keep them as
comfortable as you can. Also, be careful of the
equipment since MR and his crew are on board in
charge of the Tool Car (converted RPO) behind you
in case something goes wrong. Can't keep an event
this important languishing along an abandoned
siding now, can we.
The weather is hot
and dry with possible heat advisories out. All in
all, not the best place to be for
steam ..
but we are here. Just
take it easy and drive safe
------
We are picking up our
passengers and are almost ready to depart for the
high iron. Things are running smooth, so it's just
a matter of 'staying awake' and not getting
mesmerized by the beautiful scenery out the
window.

NOTES:
A majority of this
was done right at 5mph below the posted speed
limit. I have purposely used the "Automatic
Fireman" on these to derive times so that anyone
with the inclination to run it could feasibly do
so.
