A lengthy repair job on the main through freight route has caused major changes to normal operations.  Through freight traffic has been rerouted until the main freight route (with lesser grades) can be reopened.  As operator of the twice weekly coal delivery from Wyoming to San Diego you have completed a trip over the Raton pass route and Glorieta Pass to Lamy with additional assignments every step of the way.

 

Your consist occupies most of the available space at Lemy.  While waiting for opposing traffic to dissipate you receive new orders to deliver a recently arrived consist to Santa Fe and return with a priority consist from Santa Fe.

 

This is the fifth of a series of activities to move the coal through the Southwest division.
