It's
Spring, 1953. You're
assigned to the NERR's
Raton Pass helper service. However, last night
you were called down to Las Vegas due to a family
emergency. This morning you're returning to Raton
on the world famous NERR
Nor'Easter Limited. Just in time too,
because the Nor'Easter's
F7s will need help over Raton Pass. Your fireman
will have your 4-8-2 #384 waiting for you at
Raton.
You've known all the
Nor'Easter crews for
years, and although it's against
regs, you're welcome
in the cab for this run. What the heck, this crew
owes you a favor. You may even just take the
controls. Just get the
Nor'Easter there on time.
All traffic,
including the NERR's
Central Valley Produce Express, which pulled out
of Las Vegas just 10 minutes ago, will take a
siding to allow the
Nor'Easter to pass. Obey all speed limits.
The Nor'Easter's
engineer reminds you of the tricky curves north of
Las Vegas, where speed restrictions are posted.
Speed Limits:
Yards = 15 MPH
Main = 90 MPH
Other =
As posted
Drive Safely!
Add-ons Required:
none, only NERR and standard equipment used
