Review--NEEM92-03-BusyDay by Karl
(Karl Brannigan, Eketahuna, New Zealand)
Here's another of Karl's very nice
little activities, set in East Metro. Again, you start
with the power quietly parked in the shed, and you must
rumble down to the yard to assemble your consist. You'll
probably find that it’s just a little bit tricky getting
this one out of the yard, and Karl doesn't "hold your
hand" for you, but with a few satisfying "brain twitches",
you'll soon be on your way.
Then, it's a full run down Rich
Garber's typically beautiful route to Big City, where you
eventually find the appropriate yard, set-out your consist
and park the power in the Refuelling and Dispatch shed.
All in all, 03-BusyDay is a nice,
“breadwinner” kind of activity that's typical of Karl's
solid, satisfying output. This is the kind of run you'd
probably choose when you have just an hour or so in which
to unwind at the end of a long, hard day at work. Good
fun!
